Overview:
Set in Cuba, Havana is a very fun Black Ops map because it offers an urban battlefield with lots of action. Most action occurs in the rooms by the two spawn points.Because of the erratic nature of the map, you will find yourself in many impromptu battles that spring from nowhere.
Multiplayer Black Ops Tips for Havana:
1. The central street is a terrible place to hangout. You are vulnerable from almost every angle...avoid it! At the beginning of the game, you can take advantage of this by sprinting to the middle and lobbing grenades high so that they land near the cars in the enemies' spawn zone. You will get a multikill 30-40% of the time.
2. Both buildings in the center are very similar. They have excellent sight lines up the central road and offer great sniping opportunities. However, they leave you vulnerable to other snipers and sneak attacks.
3. Multiple routes lead into the hotel. Exploit the flexibility to mix up your path of attack, and if under attack, use another exit to flee.
4. The hotel has two floors, but a small rear area. Therefore, evading pursuit is somewhat more difficult in the hotel than it is in the building across the street.
5. Rear alleys are a great way to travel north/south while avoiding the main road.
6. The large buildings near each spawn point offer a great sniper view of the main road.
7. Shotguns are only advised if you plan to stay in the buildings...they are worthless in the street.
