Overview of Firing Range:
Firing Range is one of the smaller Black Ops Multiplayer maps, but it is a little bigger than Nuketown. If possible, use your helicopter killstreaks because the map offers little aerial protection. If sniping, don't leave too much time in the scope...otherwise you'll catch a knife in your back.
Black Ops Multiplayer Tips for Firing Range:
1. The two structures in the middle of the map (the elevated ones) offer excellent sniping opportunities...just be careful because you are a great target for lobbed grenades and/or being knifed in the back. Use claymore mines to protect your back.
2. Do not run around this map without checking the area around you. If you don't, you will quickly be caught in a crossfire and die soon. At a minimum throw some gas to create some confusion for your enemies.
3. If your opponent climbs into the very high tower in the middle of the map, just lob a grenade or two up there and your Black Ops enemy will be sent to hell.
4. There is a little bathroom hut in the northwest corner of the map. If you and a few teammates hide in it, you can control a large amount of the map because both exits provide great sightlines to critical map points.
5. Use FIring Range's small size to rack up some kills to complete your challenges.
6. When in doubt, throw a grenade...you are bound to hit an enemy hiding.
